IDHW has until Friday, April 6, to begin accepting applications from transgender people to amend the sex on their birth certificates. Lambda Legal, an LGBT legal advocacy organization, chalked up a win in Idaho on March 5, when a U.S. District Court ordered Gem State officials to allow transgender people to correct their Idaho birth certificates to reflect their gender identities.
