Senate panel passes abortion-reversal info bill on party-line vote

The Senate State Affairs Committee has voted along party lines to approve SB 1243, requiring women seeking abortions to be provided referrals to information regarding reversal of chemical abortions partway through the procedure; the vote sends the bill to the full Senate with a recommendation that it “do pass,” and followed more than two hours of impassioned testimony for and against the bill.   “The objective here is to inform, and that’s what this allows to happen,” said Sen.
